Ilhan Mansiz Officially Signs For Kobe

TOKYO - Turkey's World Cup striker Ilhan Mansiz has officially signed a two-year contract with J-League first division club Vissel Kobe.
After signing the deal, the 28-year-old attacker left Japan for Germany.
Sources said that the transfer fee for the two-year deal lasting through January of 2006 was 4.5 million U.S. dollars.
Kobe officials said that Mansiz would not join the pre-season training camp until February 21, but he would return to Japan on February 20 and appear in the season opening match on March 13.
The Japan club also signed coach Ivan Hasek of the Czech Republic who moved from French Racing Strasbourg and Rehak Pavel of the Czech Republic from SK Slavia Prague as his assistant.
The club also transferred 11 new players this year including Brazilian defender Roger and forward Leandro.
