ANKARA/WASHINGTON - International Monetary Fund (IMF) delegation headed by Turkey Desk Chief Reza Moghadam is expected to come to Turkey next week for the second part of the seventh review.
Sources said on Thursday that economy administration had almost completed its work on additional measures in order to reach 6.5 percent of primary surplus.
Finance Minister Kemal Unakitan said on Wednesday that technical work would be concluded after IMF delegation came to Turkey, adding that issues on which Turkey and IMF delegation agreed would be announced.
Sources at IMF told A.A correspondent that date of IMF delegation's visit to Turkey had not become definite yet, but a statement on the date of IMF delegation's visit could be made in a few days.
The first part of the seventh review was held between January 12 and 21. Turkey and IMF agreed to hold the second part of the review in the second half of February during their meetings.
Around 500 million U.S. dollars of loan will be released after the IMF Executive Boards approves completion of the seventh review.
