ISTANBUL - Two of the 12 Iraqi persons who were brought to Istanbul for medical treatment, underwent surgery on Thursday.
Medical Park Hospital's Director General Reha Ozkaya said that a 5.5 years old girl underwent an open-heart surgery. Ozkaya noted that a nine years old boy suffering from the same problem and one adult who was blind because of tumor in his brain would probably be operated on Friday.
Meanwhile, one of the six Iraqi patients staying in Memorial Hospital had by-pass the same day.
