Nato Secretary General De Hoop Scheffer Due In Ankara

ANKARA - NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer is expected to come to Ankara on February 18.
Diplomatic sources said on Thursday that preparations for NATO Summit that would be held between 28-29 June and reconstruction of NATO would be taken up at the meetings of de Hoop Scheffer with Turkish officials.
Sources said that NATO's operations in Afghanistan and the Balkans would also come to agenda during the one-day visit of de Hoop Scheffer.
De Hoop Scheffer who took over the post of NATO Secretary General from George Robertson last month, will visit Turkey for the first time.
