ANKARA - Ankara mayor Melih Gokcek and Serafim Urechean, the mayor of Moldova's capital Kishinev signed on Thursday sister city protocol.
Speaking after meeting with Urechean and the accompanying delegation, Gokcek said that he believed that relations between the two countries would further improve by signing of the protocol.
Urechean said in his part that they wanted to make cooperation with Turkey in scientific, cultural, technological and commercial fields, adding that the declaration signed would not remain on paper, but it would be put into practice in all fields.
With the signing of the protocol, the number of Ankara's sister cities increased to 32.
