ANKARA - Amnesty International (AI) Secretary General Irene Khan and an accompanying delegation visited on Wednesday Prime Ministry Human Rights Chairman Vahit Bicak.
Speaking before the meeting, Khan said they would discuss how a strong and independent human rights follow up organ would be formed.
Bicak in his part said Turkey took important steps in the recent years to upgrade standards of human rights, noting that putting the reforms into practice was also important as well as the arrangements.
