356 MPs Vote In Favor Of Article 2 Of Constitutional Amendment Bill

ANKARA - 356 MPs on Monday voted in favor of Article 2 of the constitutional amendment bill which envisages amendment on the 79th article of the Constitution.
434 MPs attended the secret balloting of Article 2.
69 MPs voted against Article 2, while 6 abstained and 3 votes were invalid.
The Article 2 envisages inclusion of procedures & principles of presidential election in the duties and authorities of Higher Board of Election (YSK).
