ANKARA - Turkey`s current account deficit dropped 7.3 percent, to 2.944 billion USD in March 2007 over to the same month previous year.
Turkey`s current account deficit was 3.175 billion USD in March 2006.
Turkish Central Bank released on Monday its report about the most recent balance of payments.
According to data given by the Bank, current account deficit rose 3.9 percent between January and March 2007, over the same period of 2006, to 9.54 billion USD.
The current account deficit was 8.71 billion USD in the same period 2006.
