Baykal: Electoral Coalition Possible Without Shutting Down D.S.P.

ANKARA - Main opposition Republican People`s Party (CHP) Chairman Deniz Baykal said "there may be an electoral coalition without shutting down Democratic Left Party (DSP)."
"We are expecting DSP to let us know about this matter after debating it," Baykal told reporters on Monday when asked about a prospective CHP-DSP union.
"In such case, any kind of formulation can be arranged that is required for an electoral coalition, including participation (of the DSP members) to the elections under the banner of CHP," he added.
