NEW YORK - U.N. Secretary General's Special Envoy to Cyprus Alvaro De Soto said early on Wednesday that they needed time for reflection.
Speaking to reporters after tripartite meeting of TRNC President Rauf Denktas, U.N. Secretary General Kofi Annan and Greek Cypriot leader Tassos Papadopoulos, De Soto said that it was a constructive discussion.
''The Secretary-General has asked them to stay on and to take the morning off for reflection, and we will be meeting again tomorrow afternoon at 4 p.m. (11 p.m. Turkish local time)'' he said.
Noting that both sides were asked not to reveal anything about the discussions so far, De Soto added that also they would abide by this rule.
