Cyprus Talks Adjourned Until Wednesday

NEW YORK - The tripartite meeting of TRNC President Rauf Denktas, U.N. Secretary General Kofi Annan and Greek Cypriot leader Tassos Papadopoulos was adjourned until Wednesday.
The sides convened in New York at 11:33 p.m. Turkish local time on Tuesday and the meeting ended at 01:25 a.m. on Wednesday.
After the meeting, TRNC President Denktas told reporters that they would meet again at 4 p.m. U.S. local time (11 p.m. Turkish local time).
Meanwhile, Papadopoulos told Greek reporters that they could not reach a result and they would see each other on Wednesday.
Diplomatic sources said that sides would convene again at 11 p.m. Turkish local time on Wednesday.
