ANKARA - Union of Turkish Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB) Chairman Rifat Hisarciklioglu has said that they supported normalization of life in Iraq after political stability was settled as soon as possible.
Members of the Iraqi Senate paid a visit to Hisarciklioglu at the TOBB building in Ankara on Tuesday.
Speaking to reporters prior to the meeting, Hisarciklioglu said that the Turkish private sector was ready to do its best for settlement of economic stability in Iraq.
Noting that Iraq should finalize its constitution and form its administration as soon as possible, Hisarciklioglu added that they were in favor of protection of Iraq's territorial integrity.
Meanwhile, Iraqi Senate Speaker Iyad Cemaleddin said that they believed Iraq's would have a brilliant future and they were certain that they would overcome the existing problems together with people.
Stating that a new period had started in Iraq which would be a democratic and federative country respecting human rights, Cemaleddin said that Iraq's economy would be liberal.
Cemaleddin added that they would feel the honor of being a neighboring country of a European Union member Turkey.
