WARSAW - Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul expressed belief on Tuesday that Turkey would get a date from the European Union (EU) to start full membership negotiations at the end of 2004.
Gul, who is paying an official visit to Poland, delivered a speech on Turkey's approaches to European Union (EU) at the College of Europe Natolin.
Upon a question on Turkey's EU process and full membership negotiations, Gul said, ''we will get a negotiation date at the end of this year and all our laws will be the same with the EU.''
