Gul: Providing Kurds In North Of Iraq With A Separate Structure Is A Big Concern For All Regional Countries

WARSAW - Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul said on Tuesday that providing the Kurds in north of Iraq with a separate structure was a big concern for all regional countries.
Gul, who is paying an official visit to Poland, delivered a speech on Turkey's approaches to European Union (EU) at the College of Europe Natolin.
Replying to a question why Turkey was closely interested in Kurds in north of Iraq, Gul said, ''providing Kurds in north of Iraq with a separate structure is a big concern for not only us, but also all other regional countries. We are concerned because we think that there will be chaos, bloodshed and civil war in that case and we can't ensure the stability we want in this country. The Middle East can't endure a new conflict.''
Gul stated that everybody should be careful about political unity, territorial integrity and equal distribution of resources in Iraq to all Iraqi people for a stable Iraq.
