KOCAELI/GAZIANTEP/BELEN/ESKISEHIR - Turkish police confiscated 20 kilograms of heroin in northwestern city of Kocaeli on Monday.
Three people were taken into custody in connection with the haul.
On the other hand, 1.7 kilograms of heroin was seized in a passenger bus en route from eastern city of Van to southeastern city of Gaziantep. Three people were detained in the operation staged in Gaziantep.
In another operation in Belen town of southern city of Hatay, police impounded three kilograms of hashish and arrested two people.
Also, two people were captured with four kilograms of hashish in central Anatolian city of Eskisehir.
