ISTANBUL - Members of Orthodox Church in America visited on Sunday Chief Rabbi Isak Haleva to offer condolences over those who lost their lives in bomb attacks in Istanbul in November 2003.
A group of members of Orthodox Church in America firstly attended Sunday ritual in the Fener Greek Orthodox Patriarchate and later participated in the lunch hosted by Fener Greek Orthodox Patriarch Bartholomeos.
The group later visited Chief Rabbi Haleva and expressed condolences over people who lost their lives in November's terrorist attacks on two synagogues in Istanbul.
Members of Orthodox Church in America will go to Ankara on Monday.
Two explosions had occurred in front of Neve Shalom Synagogue and Beth Israel Synagogue in Istanbul on November 15, 2003.
Twenty-five people died and 262 people were injured in the attacks which were staged by two pick-up trucks loaded with explosives on two synagogues.
