Court Rejects Indictment About Killing Of Dink

ISTANBUL - The High Criminal Court in Istanbul rejected the indictment prepared by prosecutors Selim Berna Altay and Fikret Secen about killing of journalist Hrant Dink of Armenian descent.
Prosecutors will rewrite the indictment by taking into consideration the deficiencies mentioned by the court.
In their indictment, prosecutors asked for life-imprisonment for key suspects Erhan Tuncel and Yasin Hayal, on charges of inciting others to kill Dink and ruling an armed terrorist organization.
They also demanded the court to sentence Ogun Samast, the hit-man, to an imprisonment sentence going from 18 to 24 years.
52-year-old Dink, editor-in-chief of the Turkish-Armenian weekly Agos, was shot dead outside his newspaper's office in Istanbul on January 19th.
