ANKARA - Turkey will be promoted by nearly 1,500 publications in the 20th Tehran International Book Fair.
The fair, considered the largest of its kind in the Middle East, will stay open between May 2nd and 11th.
Executives from Libraries Department of Turkish Culture & Tourism Ministry told the A.A correspondent that representatives from the ministry, several NGOs and publishing houses will participate in the fair, stating that they aimed to promote Turkey's cultural assets and boost relations between Turkey and Iran.
On the other hand, Turkish and Iranian authorities will hold a meeting on translation of books in Turkish into Persian.
A reception will be given in honor of Turkish and Iranian writers, publishers, translators and academicians in Turkish Embassy in Tehran on May 2nd.
