ANKARA - Ornella Muti, one of the most popular artists of the Italian cinema, inaugurated the "Fashionset Annamode: 60 Years of Women`s Fashion in Cinema" exhibition in capital Ankara on Sunday.
Prior to the inauguration of the exhibition organized by the renowned Italian fashion atelier Annamode, the actress held a press conference at Ankamall shopping center in Ankara.
Muti stated that the costumes displayed at the exhibition were prepared as if "carrying out a scientific study".
Stressing that the roles she played in movies took her to different places mentally, Muti said the visitors of this exhibition would also feel the same way while looking at the pieces displayed.
-FASHIONSET ANNAMODE EXHIBITION-
The exhibition hosts various costumes designed by Annamode and used by the most attracting women of the cinema history in movies of 1900`s.
Nearly 60 original costumes are displayed at the exhibition where costumes from popular movies can also be seen such as Ingrid Bergman and Liza Minelli`s "A Matter of Time-Nina", Maria Schell`s "Le Notti Bianche", Scarlett Johansson and Helen Hunt`s "Good Woman", Sophia Loren`s "Matrimonio All`Italiano and Ornella Muti`s "Bell Antonio".
The exhibition will remain open till May 20th.
