Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai Arrives In Ankara

ANKARA - President Hamid Karzai of Afghanistan arrived in Ankara for a two-day formal visit, on Sunday.
President Karzai, together with Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf who is also in Ankara, will attend to a dinner given in their honor by Turkish President Ahmet Necdet Sezer at Cankaya Presidential Palace.
On the other hand, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Afghanistan President Karzai and Pakistani President Musharraf are expected to hold a tripartite meeting at the Prime Ministry HQ on Monday.
Following the meeting, President Karzai will leave for central Anatolian city of Konya and visit the tomb of Mevlana -- the great spiritual leader of Islam`s Sufi order also known as Jalal ud-din Rumi.
