Leaders Of The Cement Sector To Gather In Turkey

ANKARA - Turkey will host an important organization regarding the cement sector in May.
Many representatives of the world cement sector will gather in Istanbul at the "3rd International Symposium on Sustainability in Cement and Concrete", which will be organized by the Turkish Cement Manufacturers` Association on the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of its establishment.
Issues such as environmental technologies and cement production, alternative fuels, alternative raw materials and energy saving measures in cement manufacturing will be discussed at the symposium that will be held from May 21st to 23rd.
Mineral admixtures, new types of cement and concrete, durable concrete, standards, quality management and CE certifications, international emission trade, related ongoing developments in the world and the application of Nano technology on sustainability in cement and concrete will be on the agenda of the symposium as well.
Representatives and high-level officials from the cement sectors of Turkey, Japan, Switzerland, USA, Germany, Belgium and Israel are expected to participate in the organization.
