Suspect Of Attempted Attack On Yok Chairman Tezic Captured

ANKARA - Suspect of attempted attack on Chairman of the Higher Board of Education (YOK) Erdogan Tezic was captured, said PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday.
On his way out from a reception held on the occasion of the 45th Anniversary of the foundation of the Constitutional Court in Ankara, PM Erdogan told reporters that the assailant of the attempted attack on YOK chairman Erdogan Tezic was captured.
Erdogan stated that the name of the assailant who was captured by security forces at the bus station was Nurullah Ilgun and congratulated the security forces.
A pistol was found on the suspect during the search.
The suspect was taken into custody and taken to Counter Terror General Directorate, it was reported.
