ANKARA - Foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank decreased by 102 million U.S. dollars between January 23 and 30, 2004.
According to the Central Bank's weekly bulletin, the Central Bank's foreign exchange reserves which were 33 billion 841 million U.S. dollars on January 23 decreased to 33 billion 739 million U.S. dollars on January 30.
Total foreign exchange reserves of banks and private finance organizations decreased 413 million U.S. dollars from 14 billion 111 million U.S. dollars to 13 billion 698 million U.S. dollars between January 9 and 16.
The international reserves of Turkey comprising gold reserves and foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank, commercial banks and private finance organizations increased 224 million U.S. dollars from 49 billion 35 million U.S. dollars to 49 billion 259 million U.S. dollars between January 9 and 16.
