Denktas Says He Can Probably Fly To New York On Sunday

LEFKOSA - Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) President Rauf Denktas said on Friday that he could probably fly to New York on Sunday in case news from Turkey was positive.
Denktas, who returned from Turkey to TRNC, told reporters that he would give a written response to United Nations (U.N.) Secretary General Kofi Annan the same day or the following day.
''If news coming from Turkey is positive, I can probably go to New York on Sunday,'' Denktas said.
