Soccer- Turkey To Host 2005 Uefa-caf Meridian Cup

NYON - The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) Executive Committee announced on Thursday that Turkey would stage the fifth UEFA-African Confederation of Football (CAF) Meridian Cup in 2005.
The competition, which began in 1997, has previously been played in Portugal, South Africa, Italy and Egypt.
The competition features Under-17 national teams from Europe and Africa.
