Council Of Ministers Approves Protocols About Participation Of Seven Countries In Nato

ANKARA - The Council of Ministers has approved protocols about participation of seven countries in North Atlantic Treaty.
The approval of protocols about participation of Bulgaria, Romania, Slovenia, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Slovakia in NATO was published in Saturday's Official Gazette.
Participation of these countries will become official during NATO Summit to be held in Istanbul in June of 2004.
After participation of Bulgaria, Romania, Slovenia, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Slovakia, number of NATO allies will increase from 19 to 26.
