Denktas: We Have Not Held Talks With Annan Yet

LEFKOSA - President Rauf Denktas of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) has said, ''we have not held talks with United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan yet. After Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan's return from the United States, we will hold face-to-face talks again.''
President Denktas received on Friday Michael Klosson, the Ambassador of the United States to the Greek Cypriot side.
Responding questions of journalists following the meeting, President Denktas said, ''we have not held talks with United Nations Secretary General Annan yet. After Prime Minister Erdogan's return from the United States, we will assess the developments.''
