Barbara Logan Hay Appointed As British Consul General To Istanbul

ANKARA - Barbara Logan Hay has been appointed as the British Consul General to Istanbul.
British Embassy in Ankara said on Friday that Hay was appointed in place of former British Consul General to Istanbul Roger Short who died in the terrorist attack that took place on November 20, 2003.
Hay who is currently the British Consul General in St. Petersburg, will start her term in office in Istanbul soon.
