ANKARA - Foreign exchange deposit accounts at banks with letter of credit and super foreign exchange accounts decreased 908 million USD to 71 billion 209 million USD between January 9 and 16.
According to Central Bank's provisional statistics, total foreign exchange deposit accounts at banks was 72 billion 117 million U.S. dollars on January 9.
Foreign exchange deposits decreased 978 million U.S. dollars to 53 billion 723 million U.S. dollars in the same period.
Total internal foreign exchange deposits decreased 894 million U.S. dollars to 51 billion 200 million U.S. dollars while external foreign exchange deposits decreased 84 million U.S. dollars to 2 billion 523 million U.S. dollars in the same period.
Meanwhile, total foreign exchange deposits at the interbank market increased 35 million U.S. dollars to 611 million U.S. dollars.
Foreign exchange deposits with letter of credit and super foreign exchange accounts increased 70 million U.S. dollars to 17 billion 556 million U.S. dollars between January 16 and 23.
