Six Leftist Political Parties To Join Forces In Local Election

ANKARA - Six leftist political parties decided on Thursday to join forces in local election due in March 2004.
Leaders of Social Democrat People's Party (SHP), Democracy Party (DEHAP), Freedom and Solidarity Party (ODP), Work Party (EMEP), Free Society Party (OTP) and Socialist Democracy Party (SDP) held a joint press conference.
The leaders announced that they would combine forces in local election to be held on March 28, 2004.
