Environment And Forestry Minister Pepe Arrives In Berlin

BERLIN - Environment and Forestry Minister Osman Pepe arrived in German capital Berlin on Wednesday as the guest of Turkey Studies Center (TAM) Foundation.
Ministry of Environment and Forestry Undersecretary Hasan Sarikaya and Parliamentary Environment Commission Chairman Munir Erkal are accompanying Pepe.
Addressing journalists at the hotel, Pepe said that Turkey's environment policies under its European Union (EU) membership process would be taken up during his meetings with German officials.
Pepe is scheduled to meet with Environment, Nature Conversation and Nuclear Security Minister Juergen Trittin of Germany tomorrow.
He will come together with German Parliamentary Environment Commission members at a luncheon.
