ANKARA - Turkey's industrial output rose 7.1 percent in February 2007. In February 2006, this figure was 5.7 percent.
According to the Monthly Industrial Production Index of the Turkish Board of Statistics (TUIK), production in mining industry increased 4.3 percent and gas, electricity and water generation climbed by 6.3 percent.
Meanwhile, increase in manufacturing industry was recorded as 7.4 percent.
