AMSTERDAM - Agriculture and Rural Affairs Minister Sami Guclu came to Holland on Monday as the guest of Dutch Minister of Agriculture, Nature, and Food Quality Cees Veerman for four days.
Guclu who is accompanied by a five-member delegation from the Ministry, told reporters that Turkey's best relations among EU countries in the field of agriculture were with Holland and noted that Turkey wanted to benefit from Holland's information accumulation and technological opportunities.
Guclu said that they would take up the common investments which two countries could make in the field of agriculture and sign a cooperation agreement during his visit.
Guclu will meet with the Dutch Minister Veerman in The Hague on Tuesday.
After that meeting, Guclu and Veerman will sign Common Working Plan Agreement that foresaw development of agricultural cooperation between the two countries.
Guclu will also visit some agricultural enterprises and institutions during his visit.
