Turkey To Extend 83 Million Ytl Of Financial Aid To N Cyprus

LEFKOSA - Turkey plans to extend 783 million YTL (one dollar equals 1.38 YTL) of financial aid to Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) in 2007.
Turkish aid will be used in a total of 415 infrastructure investments and non-financial sector projects.
Turkey will allocate 125 million YTL of this aid as grant and defense allowance. 210 million YTL will be granted for infrastructure investments, 40 million YTL will be given as incentive loans and 225 million YTL as loans for non-financial and financial sectors.
When transferred aid items of 2006 added to this amount, the planned financial aid by Turkey reaches 783 million YTL.
