TARSUS - The fourth International Tarsus Half-Marathon organized jointly by Tarsus Municipality and Berdan Tekstil Corp. was held in Tarsus town of southern city of Mersin with the participation of 2000 athletes from 14 countries.
Runner Wilson Kiprotich from Kenya in men`s category and Romanian Talpos Luminita in women`s category finished the marathon first.
Other Kenyan athletes John Kipkorir Komen came second and Tewodros Shiferaw came third in men`s category.
In women`s category, another Kenyan runner Cathy Mutwa finished the run second and Russian Julia Gromova third.
