ANKARA - Agriculture and Rural Affairs Minister Sami Guclu will go to Netherlands on Monday on a working visit.
Issuing a statement on Sunday, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs said that during his visit between January 26-30, Guclu would sign a joint working plan agreement aiming at improvement of cooperation between Turkey and Netherlands in agriculture. Dutch Minister of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality Cees Veerman will sign the agreement on behalf of Netherlands.
The agreement in question envisages development of implementation of several projects, close cooperation in environment, water, soil and nature, organization of workshop activities in legal matters in field of agriculture under adjustment to the EU regulations and exchange of information and experience on Joint Fishing Policy and necessary structures.
It added that Guclu would also visit several agriculture enterprises and organizations and meet with Turkish businessmen at dinner.
