ANKARA - Hilmi Bengi, Chairman of Executive Board and Director-General of Anadolu Agency and A.A employees planted 21,000 saplings at A.A facilities in Golbasi town of Turkish capital Ankara on Saturday.
Deputy Director-Generals Ahmet Tek and Tahsin Akti, heads of departments, regional directors, directors of services, other A.A employees and their families attended the event.
Speaking at the ceremony, Bengi said planting trees is a holy mission and noted that they will plant 90,000 more trees at the 90th anniversary of the agency.
