ISTANBUL/TEHRAN - Industry and Trade Minister Ali Coskun arrived early on Sunday in Tehran, Iran to attend the First Meeting of Industry Ministers of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO).
Prior to his departure from Istanbul's Ataturk Airport together with Turkish Institute of Standards, Turkish Institute of Patent and Union of Turkish Chambers and Commodity Exchanges officials, Coskun told reporters that he would have meetings on industrial cooperation draft action plan and Tehran declaration.
During his three-day official visit to Iran, Coskun will visit Iran's East Azerbaijan state's capital city Tabriz on Sunday and meet with state governor Mohammad Ali Sobhanallahi and Tabriz Chamber of Commerce officials.
Coskun who will return to Tehran on Monday will attend the First Meeting of Industry Ministers of the ECO on Tuesday. He will return to Turkey early on Wednesday.
ECO which was founded by Turkey, Iran and Pakistan has now ten-member structure with participation of Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
