ISTANBUL - Tourism Minister Tijani Haddad of Tunisia said on Friday that they were proud of the cultural heritage bestowed by the Ottoman Empire.
Haddad, who is currently in Turkey on an official visit, held a meeting at Istanbul`s Hilton Hotel to promote Tunisia to Turkish travel agencies.
Recalling that he signed an agreement with Turkish Culture & Tourism Minister Atilla Koc with the aim of further improving the relations between the two countries in tourism, Haddad said that Turkey and Tunisia would cooperate in marketing, promotion and training of staff in tourism sector.
