ANKARA - The 18th Limak Ankara International Film Festival will take place from April 12th to 22nd.
During the festival, prominent Turkish actress Fatma Girik will be presented with "Aziz Nesin Lifetime Achievement Award".
Eighteen films including "Aura" by Orhan Oguz, "Waiting for Heaven" by Dervis Zaim, "The Chinese are Coming" by Zeki Okten, "Ice Cream I Scream" by Yuksel Aksu, "Home Coming" by Cem Ugur, "The Magician" by Cem Yilmaz and Ali Taner Baltaci, "Joenjoy" by Nur Akalin, "Destiny" by Zeki Demirkubuz, "Snowmen" by Aytan Gonulsen, "The Little Apocalypse" by Taylan Biradeler, "Police" by Onur Unlu, "Istanbul, My Love" by Seckin Yasar, "Fog and Night" by Turgut Yasalar, "The Tram" by Olgun Arun and "Unforgettables" by Ayhan Sonyuruk will compete in this year`s national long-feature film competition.

The films of worldwide famous director Federico Fellini will be screened under the title of "I remember..."
South Korean films of the last period will also be shown under the title of "New Korean Cinema: Love, Life and Death"
In the "From the Hell: The World is Fighting" category, the festival audience will watch fiction films and documentaries about war and peace.
