ANTALYA - "Turkey attaches importance to its relations with ECO (Economic Cooperation Organization) member states as much as Turkey`s EU accession process," Turkish Finance Minister Kemal Unakitan said on Friday.
Taking the floor in the 2nd ECO finance and economy ministerial summit in Mediterranean city of Antalya, Unakitan noted, "ECO has a great economic power with its member states whose population is nearly 400 million."
Stating that Turkish economy has shown a great performance during the last four years, Unakitan remarked, "our country has become a global actor by boosting its competitive power. As long as stability and structural reforms continue, Turkey`s achievements will go on."
