SAMSUN/TRABZON - Black Sea Coastal Road will be formally inaugurated on Saturday at a ceremony which will be participated by Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
PM Erdogan will also inaugurate Ordu Nefise Akcelik Tunnel tomorrow which is the longest highway tunnel of Turkey on Bolaman-Persembe route between Samsun and Ordu cities.
Black Sea Coastal Road is 542 kilometers long, and starts from northern city of Samsun and ends at Sarp Border Gate. It costed 4.2 billion USD.
The road will serve 6 cities, 63 towns, 17 districts, 9 ports and 2 airports.
There are 263 bridges (27 km), 12 single tube tunnels (41 km) and 20 double tube tunnels (18.5 km) on Black Sea Coastal Road.
