ISTANBUL - ECE Turkiye, which carries out the management of 6 big shopping malls in Turkey including Metrocity, Beylikduzu Migros, CarrefourSA Maltepe Park and Town Center, is getting prepared to develop new projects, after its first investment in central Anatolian province of Eskisehir.
ECE Turkiye plans to invest 400 million USD in Turkey, with its upcoming shopping mall projects in Istanbul and capital Ankara.
Mustafa Altindag, Director General of ECE Turkiye, told AA that the company, which has been operating in Turkey for more than 5 years, made its first investment in Turkey last year with the "Espark Shopping Centre" constructed in Eskisehir.
"Our preparations regarding other projects still continue. We are dealing with projects related to investment, management and renting," said Altindag, underscoring that they were interested in establishing partnerships for qualified projects as well.
Altindag noted that ECE Turkiye was planning to make investments worth nearly 1 billion USD in the next 2 or 3 years in Turkey.
ECE, a company which carries out the management of numerous shopping centres, represents 8,100 tenants operating in 83 shopping malls, as well as a sales area of 2.4 million square meters and a project volume of 9.4 billion EUR.
ECE Turkiye, established in Turkey by ECE in October 2000, deals with the development, planning, construction, renting and management processes of shopping centre projects in the country.
