Pakistan confirms H5N1 bird flu at two more poultry farms

Pakistani health officials announced Monday that the H5N1 bird flu virus had been confirmed at commercial poultry operations in Abbottabad and Karachi, with test results returned late last week. Around 600 birds were culled across the two sites following laboratory confirmation.
