ANKARA - Industry and Trade Minister Ali Coskun will go to Tehran, Iran on Sunday to attend the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Industry Ministers meeting.
Industry and Trade Ministry said in a written statement on Friday that officials from Turkish Standards Institute (TSE), Turkish Patent Institution (TPE), Directorate General for Development and Support of Small and Medium Scale Industry (KOSGEB), Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), State Planning Organization (DPT) and private sector will also attend the meeting.
ECO member states will hold talks about Industrial Cooperation Draft Action Plan and Tehran Declaration during the meeting.
The organization which was set up by Turkey, Iran and Pakistan in 1992 as a supranational organization, admitted Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan as members the same year.
Coskun and the accompanying delegation will return to Turkey on January 28.
