Parliament Adopts Law That Abolishes Death Penalty In Military Laws

ANKARA - Parliament adopted on Thursday the law which abolished death penalty that existed in military laws except cases mentioned in the Constitution.
With the amendment made in the law related to Military Penal Code and Law on Foundation and Trial Procedures of Military Courts, death penalty except in cases of mobilization and continuation of the state of war is abolished.
