LEFKOSA - TRNC parliament finished on Thursday night discussing the government programme of CTP-DP coalition.
The TRNC government will seek for getting vote of confidence on Saturday.
CTP leader and Prime Minister Mehmet Ali Talat said in the parliament that they would act in line with the expectations of the people.
Responding to criticisms about the government programme, Talat said that the basic issue of the government would be solution of Cyprus question and EU membership.
Referring to the importance of the date May 1, Talat said that solution of Cyprus issue until that date was very important for Turkey and noted that Turkey was resolved for solution. Talat said that both the government would work itself and it would also make the parliament work.
Noting that the economy should be in line with EU norms as much as possible, Talat said that people would be informed about the developments continuously. Talat asked support from Peace and Democracy Movement (BDH) and National Unity Party (UBP) for solution of Cyprus question and for the government programme.

TRNC FM AND DEPUTY PM DENKTAS:''WE'LL LAUNCH EFFORTS FOR FINDING SOLUTION TO CYPRUS ISSUE''
LEFKOSA - TRNC Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Serdar Denktas said on Thursday that they would do their best for finding a solution to Cyprus issue.
Responding to criticisms about the TRNC government programme in the parliament, Denktas said that neither Republican Turkish Party (CTP) nor Democrat Party (DP) got what they wanted about the government, noting that this was very normal.
Denktas said that if the Greek Cypriot side worked for solution, a result could be reached.
''We should walk together with Turkey. We should move together and in a strong way together in order to reach a solution,'' Serdar Denktas said.
