Turkish Parliament Decorates 47 People & Institutions Decorated With Meritorious Service Medal

ANKARA - The Turkish Parliament (TBMM) has decorated 47 individuals and institutions with "Meritorious Service Medal" on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion of medal decoration, Turkish Parliament Speaker Bulent Arinc remarked that donations made by Turkish individuals and groups will set up a good example to the rest of the world.
"What helps us succeed and become stronger is the feeling of helping each other and the needy," stressed Arinc.
On the other hand, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan indicated that "Turkey and its people must continue to be constructive."
"Today, we are decorating 47 individuals and institutions who have helped Turkey's prestige overseas and contributed to Turkey's growth and development," stressed Erdogan.
Erdogan added that the "Turks must put forward new ideas and new projects and work hand in hand."
