Engine Malfunction On A Ship At Canakkale Strait

CANAKKALE - "Reina-1", a cargo ship of Malta registry, experienced an engine malfunction at Canakkale Strait.
According to sources, the cargo ship with a capacity of 2,345 gross tons which was cruising from Italy to Russia unloaded, experienced an engine failure two miles offshore from Canakkale Strait.
The captain of the ship contacted the ship traffic services with radio and anchored offshore from Tavsan island.
The officials stated the ship will continue on its route after the engine is fixed.
