Admiral Karahanoglu Decorated With "medal Of Merit" By Pakistani President

ANKARA - Turkish Naval Forces Commander Admiral Yener Karahanoglu was decorated with the "medal of merit" by Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf, the command said.
A statement on the website of Naval Forces Command said that Karahanoglu paid a visit to Pakistan between March 24th and 30th at invitation by Pakistani Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Afzal Tahir.
The statement noted that Admiral Karahanoglu was decorated with the "medal of merit" by Pakistani President Musharraf on March 25th, 2007.
On the other hand, Turkish Naval Forces and Pakistani Naval Staff also signed a protocol on "research and technology".
